Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Cambridge Trust, Raymond James

Nasdaq-listed Cambridge Bancorp, parent of Cambridge Trust Company, has named a total of five new wealth managers for its team.

Robert Maquat is joining as senior vice president and senior private banker. Based in Southern Connecticut, he has more than 30 years' experience in wealth management, including his most recent role at People's United Bank. Previously, Maquat was an analyst at Salomon Brothers and a management consultant at Touche Ross and Co. 

Christopher Lucas is joining as first vice president and senior portfolio manager with experience in providing customized investment solutions for high net worth individuals, multi-generational families, municipalities and non-profit organizations from his previous role at People's United Bank. 

Doreen DiBari is joining as an SVP and senior relationship manager with more than three decades’ experience in wealth protection and retirement planning, including personal fiduciary trust principles and estate settlement from previous positions at People's United Bank, Eastern Bank and State Street Bank.

William Fleming is joining as vice president and relationship manager. Fleming brings 15 years of experience in the financial services industry as a certified financial planner, most recently at People's United Bank. 

Sharon Mathews is joining as a senior client services associate. Mathews brings 15 years of experience in private banking, wealth management and hedge fund management, most recently as AVP at People's United Bank. 

"These new colleagues will allow Cambridge Trust to capitalize on the significant market opportunity throughout our footprint while allowing the company to expand into Southern Connecticut," Denis Sheahan, chairman and chief executive, said.

Cambridge Trust is a 131-year-old Massachusetts-based chartered commercial bank which operates from a total of 19 Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations. It has $4.5 billion in client assets under management and administration as of September 30.

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisors Francine Payson and Tarek Salhab to its employee advisor channel in Fort Myers, Florida.

As Riverview Wealth Partners of Raymond James, the team serves a variety of clients including families, retirees, business owners and healthcare professionals.

The advisors were previously affiliated with Merrill Lynch, where they managed about $215 million in client assets. They are joined by client service associates Gail Siebenmorgen and Lynda Demarco.

An industry veteran, Payson has more than 43 years of experience in financial services. She began her career at EF Hutton, working for 10 years on Wall Street specializing in serving high net worth individuals and families. Later, she joined Merrill Lynch where she stayed for 32 years prior to this transition. 

Salhab has worked in financial planning and investment management for more than 21 years. In 2000, he joined Morgan Stanley before transitioning to Merrill Lynch where he stayed for 15 years.
